For Mother's Day this year, me and my sister decided to buy a voucher for afternoon tea. Rather than buying a present, we are always creating memories!
Firstly, the menu was so nice! On too many occasions, I have had afternoon tea and the sandwich fillings have been too fancy for me to enjoy eating, so keeping it simple made me very happy! I really liked that the sandwiches came on separate plates for each individual.

Of course, I had to taste the hot chocolate and WOW I am glad i did!!
Following the tea, sandwiches and hot chocolate, it was time for the main event. I LOVE cake stands, I have some at home that I don't even use, I just love them!
Buttermilk and fruit scones were served with strawberry jam, clotted cream and lemon curd along with handcrafted sweet treats and signature cupcakes.
We definitely could not eat everything, but I would certainly return for Round #2.
If you are ever in the area, visit The Swan Hotel which is right on the embankment of The Great River Ouse, for some afternoon tea!
