For a short while, I have been loving all things 'KIKO'.
KIKO is a luxury high street brand which, in my view, has the quality of high end but at a discounted price. The majority of products I own from KIKO are make-up, but recently, I have delved into the skincare range and couldn't be happier.
Here are four products that instantly WOW'ed me!
Purifying Pads: these small circular pads are a gentle exfoliator for the face and have a very fresh scent. After removing my make-up at night, I reach for one of these pads which leaves my skin feeling so fresh and ready for moisturiser. I do feel like this product would suit all skin types, but I am not an expert so don't hold me to that. The pads are stored in this little plastic tub so they do not dry out either. Win-Win.
Energy Mask: firstly, I feel like I need to warn anybody that is thinking of purchasing this, that the mask is pure black. When I first applied this, I was walking around the house looking a vision. This aside, when I washed my face, my skin felt so clean, clear and soft. If you go into a KIKO store and ask for an assistant to test this product on the back of your hand, as soon as it is washed off, you will feel how soft it leaves your skin - this is what I did before purchasing! This is purely a moisturising and uplifting treat.
Hydrating Mask: for the ultimate moisturising mask that illuminates your skin, this one is a go-to. I like to use this mask in the morning because it makes my skin feel so fresh. They say that this mask is supposed to prevent the first signs of aging...so here's to hoping it works! It is probably the most gentle face mask that I own, hence why I often use it in the morning to wake me up. Beautiful scent and beautiful all round.
Cleansing Scrub: I love face scrubs, but have you ever tried the wrong one and it has left your face feeling sensitive and sore!? - I have. As described above, this again is another gentle product from KIKO. It exfoliates and cleanses your skin, leaving it ready for moisturiser. The Cleansing Scrub is suitable for everyday use so I leave it propped up in my bathroom ready for each day. I went round my sister's house recently and noticed she also had this product sitting on the bathroom shelf! I love how simple and basic the packaging is, and how it's so easy to see how much product you have left so that you can re-stock!
These products are so affordable and all in the region of £6.00 (certainly no more than £10.00!) Stores are popping up all over the UK, my nearest store just opened in Milton Keynes Shopping Centre so I was straight down there 2 weeks ago to browse, and...I may have also purchased a couple of bits!
